The mission department of Namirembe Diocese has today organized a colorful convention under the theme (Those who know their God, will firmly resist him – Daniel 11:32), The Rt. Rev. Samuel Egesa the Bishop of Bukedia Diocese was the guest preacher. In his sermon to the congregation he emphasized the Christians to stand firm and take action in all what they do. She taught the congregation on how to start up a business with less capital. She gave various tips on how to make your products unique on the market like 1. Start with the little you have 2. Add value to your products 3. Do the same thing but differently 4. Put community impact in whatever you do. ‘God will bless the work of your hands’ Psalms 90:17
The province of the church of Uganda declared 2017 the year of the family, in today’s convention Maama Faith Nakitende Luwalira preached about the family. She was bitter about the fathers who are reluctant about their family which is leading to bringing up children who are rebellious in our communities.
Rev. Samuel Muwonge the Mission secretary of Namirembe diocese prayed for the people who have been tied up with witch craft and evil practices. He told them to cust their burdens onto Jesus for he cares; many people surrender their lives to God.
