Kabowa Parish Supports Sanyu Babies Home

A group of Christians from Kabowa Parish in Mengo Archdeaconry led by their Parish Priest Rev. Henry Lukyamuzi yesterday visited Sanyu Babies Home to support it for the wellbeing of abandoned children. This home is the first and oldest Christian babies’ home in Uganda established in 1929 and taking care of up to 50 and toddlers aged between 1 day old and 4 years abandoned children. The Parish team was warmly welcomed and after a brief orientation, Inspection of the home took place. The home received gifts like sugar, soap, clothes, toilet papers, peppers etc. In his remarks, Rev. Henry Lukyamuzi thanked the home management for the good work of taking good care of the children. He appealed to other Churches also to continue with the spirit of supporting Sanyu.
